Poco a poco vamos retomando nuestros viajes por el mundo, así que no te quedes sin visitar algunas de las cervecerías más eclécticas en más de 70 países, ¡Bee Beer incluida!

Durante la primavera del 2018, una de esas noches en el bar de Chueca donde se lograba cruzar con cierta facilidad desde el comienzo de la barra hasta la entrada, se me acercó un cliente y me comentó que vino a conocernos porque estábamos por salir en un libro de las mejores cervecerías del mundo, nada más y nada menos que de la editorial Phaidon. Debe ser por mi generación, llámenme loco, pero aún hoy eso me parece más emocionante que lograr un post de alguien con 1MM de seguidores. No sé, sigo creyendo en el papel, así lo vea menos gente.

Me mostró la foto en el móvil donde nos mencionaban. Su amiga, que trabajaba en la editorial, se la envió al saber que visitaría Madrid. Un día cualquiera, meses antes, alguien entró a nuestro bar, pidió sus cervezas y quesos, seguramente conversó con alguno de nosotros y sin mencionar su objetivo pagó y se despidió sabiendo que seríamos parte de las páginas del libro. Creo que eso fue lo que más me sorprendió y agradó, fuimos recomendados de forma totalmente incógnita.

Con esta mini historia el cliente me dio las gracias, se las di de vuelta y se despidió advirtiéndome que debíamos esperar de 3 a 4 meses para la publicación del libro.

Hoy, 3 años después nos emociona tanto volver a abrirlo como el primer día, y retomar las visitas a lugares que han sido considerados tan especiales como el nuestro.

During the spring of 2018, one of those nights in our Chueca bar where it was possible to cross with some ease from the beginning of the bar to the entrance, a client approached me and told me that she came to meet us because we were about to go out in a book of the best breweries in the world, nothing more and nothing less than with Phaidon publishing house. It must be my generation, call me crazy, but even today that seems more exciting than getting a post from someone with 1MM followers. I don’t know, I still believe in paper, even if fewer people see it.

She showed me the photo on his mobile where they mentioned us. Her friend, who worked at the publishing house, sent it to her when she learned that she would visit Madrid. On any given day, months before, someone came to our bar, asked for their beers and cheeses, surely they talked to one of us and without mentioning their goal, paid and said goodbye knowing that we would be part of the pages of the book. I think that was what surprised and pleased me the most, we were recommended in a totally unknown way.

With this mini-story the client thanked me, I thanked them back and said goodbye, warning me that we had to wait for 3 to 4 months for the publication of the book.

Today, 3 years later, we are as excited to reopen the book as the first day and to resume visiting places that have been considered as special as ours.
